On occasion of 21st foundation day of Disha arogya kutir, an annual paediatric camp and ANC check up of pregnant women held at Disha arogya kutir. Doctors from Gondia, Amgaon and Nagpur rendered their selfless services for the cause.

After camp, tree plantation drive was taken up by the women’s wing. And felicitation of meritorious students from Salekasa tehsil was held to promote education in this area

Disha has been working in rural area of darekasa and nearby remote villages for creating health care awareness. In last 21 years Disha has played an instrumental role in creating mass awareness for health and welfare of the area. It has contributed to controlling malaria which was high in this particular area and also in reduction of mother and child morbidity and mortality rates which was a common occurrence in rural areas due to poor health care facilities.

Today Disha has 35 villages adopted under the project and is working towards the welfare of the underprivileged population of this area. And touching many lives.
