In the memory of Late Smt. Mangnidevi Mundra, Gondia a camp for checkup and diagnosis of health related problems of elderly people was organized on 28th Aug 2016 at Disha Arogya Kutir Darekasa. Total 383 number of patients reported for OPD out of which 113 were senior citizens. About 29 senior citizens were detected with cataract, out of which 8 patients were operated. In the camp 7 x-rays and 41 adult sonography for prostate were carried out.

The camp was successfully conducted under the guidance of a renowned neuro-physician Dr. Jayant Deshpand, President of Geriatic Society of India, Vidarbha Chapter, Nagpur. Dr. Sanjay Bagga, Secretary, Geriatic Society of India, Vidarbha Chapter, Nagpur, Dr. Madhukar Kherde, Dr. Diwakar Bhoyar, Dr. Anil Deoghare (Dental Surgeon) Dr. Sudhir Mangrulkar (Physiotherapist), Dr. Aditya Mehta (Radiologist) and Dr. Rajendra Agrawal (Ophthalmologist) were also a part of camp.

All the senior citizens were taken for blood sugar, hemoglobin and ECG checkup.
