Disha celebrated its 20th anniversary on 8th July 2018 in the memory of founder member late Shri Sewakramji Wankhede. On this occassion Pediatric patient checkup and Pregnant Women  problem diagnosis camp was organized. About 350 children & 36 pregnant women from Darekasa area were treated. All the pateints were distributed with the medicine and nutritiuos food free of charge. Dr. Suchita Khadse, Dr. Atul Kapse, Dr. H. Nirgulkar, Dr. Rajendra Saoji from Nagpur and Dr. Juli Jain, Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Dr. Sudhir Joshi, Dr. Subhash Purohit, Dr. Sweta Rana, Dr. Dharaskar, Dr. Sonal Gupta, Dr. Saurabh Raut, Dr. Shantanu Mukherjee, Dr. Aparna Gupta, Dr. Sumit Sharma from Gondia were prominently present and checked the pateints.

Simultaneously, as every year, the matritorious students of the region were felicitated. In thsi program former ZP president Tolsingh Pawar, former minister Bharat Bahekar, Vijay Shivankar, Saraswati Rahile and Lalita Pagarwar were present and distributed the prizes.

The program was conducted by Vinay Agrawal and Dinesh Rahangdale. Vote of thanks was presented by President of the Disha, Dr. Debashish Chatterji. Dr. Yadav Kudale, Vice President, Rakesh Gupta, Treasurer, Dr. Sajid Khan, Vinod Agrawal, Vasudev Kuranjekar and D. B. Katre worked for the success of the camp.
